Your screenshots stay on your device

Screencheck processes your screenshots in your browser. They are read straight off your disk and held in the browser's own storage — they are never uploaded to a Screencheck server, and there is no account to create.

The site itself is served from a web host like any other website, and advertising or analytics scripts may load from third parties. What those never receive is the contents of your screenshots.

Browser storage is not permanent. Clearing your browsing data, private mode, or the browser evicting storage under disk pressure will remove your projects, and no copy exists anywhere else. Export a ZIP backup for anything that matters.
