Before you write about lost projects
The most common message is about disappeared projects. Screencheck stores everything in your browser and keeps no server-side copy, so if your browser cleared its storage the data is genuinely gone and cannot be recovered by us or by you.
The fix is preventative: open the Safety panel and export a ZIP backup. It contains your project structure plus every original screenshot, and can be re-imported into any browser.
Reporting a bug
What helps most:
- Your browser and version, and your operating system.
- What you clicked, and what happened instead of what you expected.
- Anything in the browser console — open developer tools, choose the Console tab, and copy any red text.
- The approximate size and dimensions of the screenshots involved.
